Heat oven to 250.
Beat egg whites, gradually adding sugar, until stiff.
Add vanilla, chocolate chips, nuts, and orange peel. Blend well.
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Drop egg white mixture onto covered cookie sheets.
Put in oven and immediately turn oven off.
Leave oven closed overnight.
