Suggest a better description1- cook the beans in plenty of boiling salted water for about 8 minutes until al dente.
2- heat the oil and butter in a pan and fry the shallots over a medium heat. Add the pine nuts and toast quickly. Add the sugar and cook until slightly caramelized.
3- stir in the vinegar. Drain the beans and add to the pan. Stir well and season to taste with salt and ground black pepper. Serve warm or cold.
