Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2
Prepare the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Drain, and return to the pan.
Step 3
In a large pan, heat the butter and oil over medium heat. Once hot, cook the onion until softened (about 10 minutes). Then, add the bacon and cook until browned. Finally, add the garlic and thyme for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 4
Add the dry soup packet to the pan and stir. Add the wine and simmer until reduced by half. Gradually stir in the cream and season with pepper to taste.
Step 5
Now, add in the pasta and toss to coat.
Step 6
Move the mixture to a baking dish, sprinkle with cheese, and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
