Suggest a better descriptionHeat butter and add onions. Simmer about 10 minutes or until soft and lightly browned. Add bouillon, bring to boil. Simmer for 45 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire Sauce.
Pour the soup into earthenware marmites or soup plates. On top of each serving, float a slice of sauteed French bread and sprinkle with cheese.
