Saute mushrooms in the butter until tender. Drain water chestnut liquid into measuring cup. Add water to water chestnut liquid to equal 1 and 1/3 cups. Pour all ingredients into an 8 by 8 baking dish and mix well. Cover tighly with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
