Great for Christmas Morning
Whisk together all ingredients except the bread. Place the bread (thick french toast or Texas toast bread) in a rimmed baking sheet and pour 1/2 the batter over the bread. Turn bread over and pour the rest. Press a piece of wax paper on the bread.
Refrigerate overnight.
Cinnamon Syrup
In a small saucepan stir together sugar, corn syrup, water and cinnamon. Stir constantly and bring it to a boil for about 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in cream or milk.
Take bread and brown on the stove until brown and crisp.
