1. Combine brown sugar,butter, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a 13 x9 pan. Add apples and cranberries, toss well to coat well. Spread apple mixture evenly. Over bottom of baking pan. Arrange bread slices over top.
2. Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, and remaining 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Pour mixture over bread, soaking bread completely. Cover and refrigerate 4 to 24 hours.
3. Bake covered with foil, in a preheated 375 degree oven for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand five minutes.
