Very easy French Toast recipe that takes about 35-45 minutes to cook.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, half-and-half, honey and salt. You can do this the night before, if you wish.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Pour mixture in a pie pan.
Dip the bread into the mixture, allow it to soak for 30 seconds on each side. Remove to a cooling rack . Let it sit for a minute.
Over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a saute pan. Place 2 slices of bread at a time into the pan and cook until golden brown.
Remove from the pan and place on a rack in the oven for 5 minutes.
OPTIONAL: sprinkle cinnamon sugar and confectioners sugar before serving.
