Beat milk, cream, warmed honey, salt, egg and vanilla together and let sit for about 10 minutes. Heat skillet over medium-low heat and add butter. Soak each piece of bread in batter for a couple seconds then transfer to hot skillet. Fry a few minutes on each side until browned. Sprinkle with powder sugar, cinnamon, or chopped pecans as desired. Serve with additional butter melted in warmed praline maple syrup or your favorite syrup.
