Easy french toast that tastes amazing!
Heat oil in skillet on medium heat. Mix milk, egg, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, and splenda in shallow bowl. When oil is heated (take a drop of egg mixture, and place in pan...when mixture rises to top and bubbles appear, it is ready), take each slice of bread and place in egg mixture to coat both sides. Place in oil, and turn when face down side is golden brown. When each side is done, place on paper towels to soak up excess oil. Enjoy!!!
Make sure oil is hot enough so it does not soak into bread.
