Suggest a better descriptionCombine sliced peaches, juice, and sugar. Let set for 1 hour, drain and save syrup. Add enough water to saved syrup to make 1 cup and blend in cornstarch. Warm over low heat and stir until thickened. Remove from heat and add salt, butter, and vanilla. Cool. Sprinkle confectioners sugar on inside of cooked pie crust. Add peaches and pour syrup over. Refrigerate until firm. Top with whipped cream.
