Accompaniment
Slice the cucumbers, pepper and onion into thin slices.
Sprinkle with salt and celery seed. Let stand for one hour.
Combine the sugar and vinegar and stir. Pour over the veggies and stir to blend.
Put in mayo or jelly jars and refrigerate.
Keeps for 6 months in the refrigerator. But best used sooner.
