Try this simple Fried Corn recipe.
Remove corn silks. Cut corn close to cob and then scrape the ear to remove all the milk.
Slice bacon into small pieces and cook in heavy skillet. Remove bacon and leave drippings.
Heat drippings and oil. Add corn, milk, salt, pepper and sugar. Cook on low heat stirring often as corn burns easily. Cook approximately 20-30 minutes or until tender.
Add butter and bacon bits during the las few minutes of cooking.
