Suggest a better descriptionBoil water in a 4 quart saucepan. Add walnuts. Return water to a boil and cook 1 minute. Rinse nuts with hot water in a course sieve. Pour warm nuts into a large bowl and gently stir in sugar until all of the sugar is dissolved. Heat 2 inches of oil in a skillet to 300?. Add nuts and fry until golden brown. Stir often.
