Easy and delicious!
Heat oven to 400° F. Toss fruit with the brown sugar. Melt the butter in the baking pan. In a large bowl combine the flour sugar and baking powder, then add the milk to make a batter. Pull the pan with the now melted butter out of the oven and add all the batter to the pan. Place the fruit directly on the batter, then put the pan back in the oven. Cook for 30-45 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. You may want to scatter some sugar on the top halfway through, for an even crispier crust. When cobbler is done allow it to rest 5 minutes before serving it with ice cream.
