Suggest a better descriptionMelt butter in 8x8-inch baking pan. Mix together the sugar, flour, milk, baking powder & salt. Stir into the melted butter. Add a drop or two of extract & stir. Arrange drained fruit on the mixture. Bake at 350 for about 1 hour. Yields 4-6 servings. (The amount of fruit depends on whether you like more fruit or more crust. I usually make peach cobbler & place as many slices as needed to cover pan.) May be topped with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. ELLEN QUINN ROSCOE HIXON, TX From
