Suggest a better descriptionTry to sellect fruit that has just ripened. Dont use fruit that is green or too ripe, be selective. Method #1 Blender; Peel and core fruit, blend and cook 5 minutes in a saucepan over moderate heat. Method #2; Peel, core, wrap and freeze fruit. Remove an hour before using. Cook, mashing, 5-10 minutes. If very watery, drain. For both methods, while cooking, add 1 teaspoon of honey for each piece of fruit. Lay clear plastic wrap on a cookie sheet, one layer per fruit. Spread fruit thinly over bottom layer of saran wrap. Place a piece of saran wrap over the top and press with a wide spatula. Repeat process until all fruit is used. Remove top piece of plastic before drying. Dry 6-8 hours with only the pilot light on in the oven. Roll up in the plastic. Will last for several months.
