Suggest a better descriptionHEAT oven to 350 degrees. In a food processor, combine first 5 ingredients, pulse until walnuts are finely chopped. Brush a 13x9" baking pan with butter. Unroll phyllo dough, trim to fit pan. Layer 3 sheets of phyllo in pan, brushing each with butter. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup walnut mixture. Repeat layers 16 times. Top with remaining phyllo sheets, brushing each with butter. CUT into 36 triangles. Bake 40 min. or until golden brown. In a pan, combine syrup ingredients, bring to a boil. Simmer 10 min. Strain syrup, discard chile and cinnamon sticks. Pour syrup over warm baklava. Cool, let stand several hours. SERVE & ENJOY...
