Super Fudgy, Chewy, and Gooey!
Preheat oven to 350. Grease an 8 x 13 pan. Or line with parchment paper. Combine melted butter, oil, and sugars together in a medium size bowl. Whisk well. Add the eggs and vanilla; beat until lighter. Sift flour, cocoa powder, and salt together. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Don't over mix, it will change the texture of the brownies. Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour into pan. Bake 25-30 min.; or until the center of the brownies no longer jiggle. A toothpick will not come out clean for fudgy brownies. Let them continue to bake in the pan; out of the oven for an additional 10-15 min.
*These bake better in my oven on the very top rack. The top gets a nice crisp layer and the bottom does not dry out.
*They can be frozen for up to 3 months. Just let them defrost to room temperature.
