Bring to boil.
Reduce heat, cover & simmer until the beans are tender, stirring occasionally, about 2 hours.
Drain beans, reserving cooking liquid.
(Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover, chill beans & cooking liquid separately)
Bring large saucepan of salted water to boil.
Add chard & cook until wilted, about 30 seconds.
Transfer to bowl using slotted spoon.
Add pasta to boiling watering cook until just tender but still firm to the bite, stirring occasionally.
Drain & rinse under cold water.
Cook sausages heavy large skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through, turning occasionally, for 6 minutes.
Add 2 minced garlic cloves; sauté 1 minute.
Add chard; sauté 30 seconds.
Add beans & tomato sauce & bring to a simmer.
Add pasta, cheese, & oil & toss.
If the sauce is very thick, thin with reserved bean cooking liquid.
Season with salt & pepper.
Easy, great, freezes well.
