It's great for a one pot stew. Quick and easy with traditional latin flavor.
In a medium/large pot combine water, chicken broth, sazon, cabbage, chorizo, garbanzo beans, bacon, ham hawk, potatoes, and chopped vegetables with garlic.
Bring to a boil for 1 minute then reduce heat to low.
Let simmer until Garbanzos are tender approx. 20-30 minutes.
Enjoy alone as soup/stew or serve over white rice.
Salt and Pepper to taste if needed.
Sazon (1 1/4 tsp equals one packet of Sazon in recipe.)
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Coriander
1 tsp Annatto
