Suggest a better description1. Wash enough cukes to fill 6 qt. Jars.
2. Mix vinegar, water, salt and alum. Bring to a boil
3. Place 2 dill heads in bottom of each jar with 1 hot
Pepper and 1 clove garlic.
4. Pack with cukes. If leaving cukes whole pierce through with a knitting
Needle. Place 2 dill heads on top then pour hot liquid over all. Seal
Lids. Let sit in jars for at least 30 days.
You can use pint jars and cut cukes in spears if you like.
