A delicious, garlic-y shrimp dish that goes great with rice.
1. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in the bell pepper and onion. Cook and stir until the onion has softened and turned translucent, about 5 minutes.
2. Stir in the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Add the shrimp and cook until opaque, about 2 minutes on each side.
4. Stir in tomato sauce, parsley, and red pepper flakes and cook until tomato sauce is warmed through, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
If you don't have a can of tomato sauce, you can substitute 1/4 cup red cooking wine and 2 tablespoons of tomato paste. The original recipe comes from AllRecipes.
