in skillet heat olive oil and butter over medium high heat. add the minced garlic and cook 30 seconds. add the chicken broth and cream. bring to a boil and reduce heat. boil gently, uncovered for 7-10 minutes or until thickened and reduced by half. stir in the chopped thyme.
store in refrigerator for up to 4 days.
serve with chicken, fish, pork, roasted veggies or as topping for crostini app.
