Suggest a better descriptionMelt and cool 1 - 4 oz pkg Bakers German Sweet Chocolate
Sift together: 2 cups flour(unsifted)
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Cream together: 2/3 cup butter or oleo
1 1/2 cup sugar
Add 2 eggs and melted chocolate
3/4 cup buttermilk
Beat 1 minute add to flour mixture.
Bake in 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes
Coconut Pecan Frosting:
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup oleo
1 tsp vanilla
Cook over medium heat about 12 minutes. Add 1 1/3 cups coconut and 1 cup pecans
