Easy cookies made from brownie mix and coconut pecan topping.
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Combine brownie mix, pecans, egg, water, and butter mix until blended.
Place heaping tablespoons of batter on lightly greased or parchment lined cookie sheets.
Spoon in nickel to quarter sized drops of caramel to the top of each cookie, making an indention in the batter with the spoon to contain the caramel (like mashed potatoes and gravy).
Sprinkle well with coconut.
Bake 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before removing from cookie sheets. Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
