This is the coffee cake recipe that my Mom always made for company and served after Breakfast with Coffee. MMMMmmm!
Sift dry ingredients. Work in butter with knife. Add egg and milk; stir until smooth. Cover with crumb topping. Bake in 9x13 inch pan at 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes.
Blend crumb topping ingredients. Spread on top of batter. Optional: sprinkle with 1 cup chopped apples and 1 cup chopped nuts.
