Set oven to 325F (convection bake). Cream butter and white sugar. Add vanilla, brown sugar and eggs and mix well. Sift flour, salt and baking soda and slowly add to mix until combined. Add Chocolate Chips. Spray cookie sheets with non-stick spray. Drop dough by large spoonfulls spacing generously apart. Bake 12-14 min. Partially cool on cookie sheet before removing to cooling rack.
Makes 4 dozen 4" cookies.
If not using a convection oven increase to 350F for 10-12 min.
