Try this Ginger cookies recipe, or contribute your own.
Suggest a better descriptionCream together 1 1/2 sticks of butter with 1 cup sugar.
Add 1/4 cup molasses & 1 egg.
Sift together 2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon ginger, 2 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
Add to creamed ingredients.
Chill dough well overnight then form small balls and roll in ungrandulated sugar.
Bake @ 350 degrees
They will puff up a great deal
Don’t let flatten out completely
Take out first
They will look underdone
Makes approximately 11 dozen small cookies (less if you want bigger cookies)
