This recipe appeared in an old Pasadena Junior League cookbook called Pasadena Prefers and is always such a big hit at cocktail parties since it is so different but sinfully delicious.
Mix all of the ingredients together and sprinkle with reserved ginger. Chill but bring to room temp for serving.
Serve with ruffled potato chips.
