Preheat oven to 375. Cream butter, sugar and salt. Add eggs, molasses and vinegar. Add sifted dry ingredients to molasses mix, mix well. Chill 3-4 hours or overnight. Roll dough to about 1/8? thickness, cut out shapes. Bake about 8 minutes on greased cookie sheet. Decorate with icing, sprinkles, etc.
