1# Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly oil a 8x12 in. rectangle cake tin. Place the oil, molasses, and yogurt in a bowl. In another bowl, mix the salt , flour, spices and baking soda. Slowly add together wet and dry ingredients, and mix thoroughly.
2#Pour the mixture into the prepared tin, decorate the top with almonds if you wish, and bake in the oven for 40 minutes. The gingerbread is ready when a skewer comes out clean. Let it cool, and then cut into 2 in. squares. Serve gingerbread plain or with orange sauce.
