Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 350. Grease a 9 inch square pan, and lightly flour. Mix the oil and sugar for three minutes, add the eggs and beat well. Add 3/4 c boiling water and the molasses and blend. Mix the dry ingredients and add to the first mixture. Pour into pan and bake 35 to 45 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for about 5 minutes before turning out onto a plate. Good served warm with sweetened whipped cream, or applesauce.
