This dish is so delicious! I love to make it this time of year, and everyone in my family says that these are the best sweet potatoes they've ever put in their mouths! Its so sweet and gooey inside and I love the crunch from the pecans on top.
For base:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and milk in a mixing bowl and stir well. Fold in sweet potatoes. Place in a 2-quart casserole dish and top with the topping . Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Topping:
Just combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl, mix well and pour over casserole.
