Preheat oven to 160°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Melt the chocolate and butter over a double boiler.
Whisk the eggs and sugar until fluffy and pale. Stir in the vanilla essence and fold in the sifted flour. Add the chocolate.
Bake for 30 minutes. Allow to cool and turn out baked brownies onto a cutting board.
Serve with strawberries.
