Suggest a better description1. Place potatoes in large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then lower to medium and cook until potatoes are fork tender.
2. While potatoes are cooking, combine heavy cream and butter in saucepan over medium heat, stirring until warm.
3. Drain cooked potatoes and place in standing mixing bowl with paddle attachment. Slowly add cream mixture until desired consistency.
4. Slowly add shredded cheese to potatoes and mix until cheese has melted and is mixed well. (Add a bit more cream if potatoes are too thick.) Season with salt and pepper and keep warm.
