Suggest a better descriptionMelt butter in a heavy saucepan. Combine sugar and syrup over medium heat. Bring to a rolling boil. Slowly pour in milk as you stir Look to firm ball stage (240-245) Take off heat and add vanilla. Stir constantly. Let cool 10 min then test apple. Dip apple in caramel making sure to coat. Let drip, then scrape with a knife on bottom. Place on wax paper that has been heavily sprayed with cooking spray. Cool 2-3 hrs. Melt milk chocolate coat apple with chocolate leaving some caramel showing at the top. Sprinkle with oreos, drizzle with white chocolate.
OR dip caramel apple in white chocolate and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. (1/2 cup sugar mixed with 1-2 tsp of cinnamon)
