Line well buttered 9 inch springform pan with the graham cracker crumbs, press into pan. Refrigerate to chill. (see Crust ingredients)
Cheesecake batter
Beat the sugar into well-beaten eggs
Gradually add the cream cheese
Add Vanilla, lemon juice, and grated lemon rind
Beat in sour cream and blend mixture
fold in the butter
Pour batter into shell and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
Turn off the heat, open oven, and let cheesecake cool in the oven
Chill Thoroughly
