Suggest a better descriptionMix hamburger, bread crumbs, water and salt and pepper (to taste). Press in a cookie sheet (I used my half sheet and left a few inches to spare on the end) and refrigerate overnight.
Cut into 12 squares.
Heat skillet. Add in a few tbsp oil.
Dip in flour and brown in skillet quickly. Add oil as needed.
Put in roaster and add sliced onions over the top. Mix mushroom soup and gravy from the skillet together. Add a few tbsp milk if soup/gravy mix is not very runny. Pour over over onions/meat.
Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. (Conversely, fry the onions in skillet before mixing the skillet gravy into mushroom soup.
Top onions on meat, then mushroom soup mix, and bake for 30 mins)
