Mix dry ingredients, add shortening and cut into a consistency ofcourse meal. Add egg and enough milk to form soft dough. Kneadgently a few times. Pat in round and cut in 4.Bake on griddle at 350 to 375 til brown on one side. Turn and brown.Stand on sides to dry sides.Mom's
