This has been a family favourite for years. It can also be made for a slow cooker. The left overs freeze well for a quick and easy dinner at a later date.
Fry onions and crushed garlic buds until onions are transparent. Add ground beef and brown. When meat is browned sprinkle the flour in with the meat, onions and garlic. Move mixture to a large pot or slow cooker. Add the rest of the ingredients and similar for one hour if using the stove or 8 hours if using the slow cooker. Serve with spaghetti, fettuccine, vermicelli or pasta of your choice.
