Use recipe for Grandma Helen's pie crust with this recipe.
Mix all ingredients together, and pour into unbaked pie shelll. Bake at 450? for 10 minutes, then 350? for 30 minutes. Remove when pie tests done with a toothpick.
The cooking time usually runs a bit longer than is specified. The instructions state you can also bake it 425 F for 40 minutes if you prefer. We just bake it till the center isn't jiggly, about 10-15 minutes longer than it says usually. We also have been prebaking the crust, and that turned out really well.
