Mild chili, with a rich tomato flavor and lots of beans!

1. In a large pot brown meat and onion until cooked through (if adding green pepper, add here).
2. Add in all remaining ingredients and bring to boil.
3. Turn to low heat and cook for 1-1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
*Top with cheddar cheese, onions, scallions and serve with corn bread for a full meal.
Original recipe called for 1 tablespoon of dried green pepper.
*I use Bush's mild chili beans because I don't do spicy. Add a spicer bean and some cayenne to spice this up. I have also subbed red beans for black beans. For a thicker chili, add more beef and cut water in half, adding more only if needed.
