This is a thick, heavy, and kinda sticky banana nut bread that is great eaten at room temperature or heated with a pat of butter on top.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream sugar, butter, eggs , and vanilla together.
Add flour alternately with milk while beating with an electric mixer. Mix in bananas and pecans. Bake in a greased loaf pan for one hour or in a greased 9 x 13 pan for 30-35 minutes.
