This is a family favorite that was made by my Grandfather and passed down now for what will likley be generations.

1. Melt butter in a large pot and add the onion, half of the green onion, parsley and garlic, stir until wilted.
2. Add tomatoes & tomato sauce then simmer for 45 minutes.
3. Add the remaining half of the green onions & shrimp and simmer for an additonal 20 min.
4. Add the flour to water to create a slurry, then incorporate into the pot to slightly thicken the piquant.
5. Serve over rice
