Peel, core, and chop apples.
Spread out in a small, microwavable casserole dish.
Melt butter in a small bowl, mix in brown sugar and cinnamon, and pour evenly over apples.
Microwave for 2-4 minutes, stirring half way.
Divide apples into 4 serving dishes, keep the casserole dish handy.
Sprinkle granola apples in each dish and top with ice cream.
Drizzle leftover buttery/cinnamon/sugar mixture from casserole dish over each scoop of ice cream.
ALDI's Fit & Active Low-fat Granola with Raisins is perfect for this recipe. It is supposed to be "comparable to" Kellogs Low-fat Granola with Raisins, so that might work too.
