Boil 1# ziti or mostaccioli noodles about 20 min in salted water. Drain. Add 1 quart milk, 2 sticks of butter, 1 TLB salt. Simmer for about 20 min until it coats wooden spoon. Remove from heat. Add ½ cup romano cheese and mix. Coat a 9x13 pan with butter and sprinkle lightly with romano or parmesan. Then add macaroni. Add 1 TLB butter on top and a little grated cheese. Top with ½ pint of whipping cream. Bake at 450 about 20 min until golden brown.
