Greek Meatballs in Tomato Sauce
Mix ingredients well. Shape into oval meatballs. Place on greased pan. Bake 350 until brown, about 10 minutes.
Sauce:
2 TLB tomato paste diluted in 1 cup water can also add catsup.
Melt 2 TLB butter in saucepan
Add tomato mixture
Add
1/2 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp cumin
1 tsp cinnamon
salt/pepper to taste
½ cup red wine
1 tsp sugar
Heat sauce to boiling, then lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Add meatballs and cook for ½ hour. Serve over rice.
