weekend recipes
This green avocado smoothie is super creamy thanks to the avocado. And it is full of flavor and nutrition as it loaded with fresh avocados, spinach, and sweet pears. You will get about 1/3 of the recommended amount of both dietary fiber and vitamin A for the day. Also, the smoothie provides 9 grams of fat from the avocado itself. But don't fear. The fats in avocados are the healthy ones, mainly monounsaturated fats and not the more unhealthy saturated fats.
In a blender, combine the flesh of the avocado, the pear, spinach, and ice cubes.
Process until the mixture is smooth.
Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.
