Suggest a better descriptionCook, drain, and crumble the bacon. Set aside. In a large saucepan, melt the butter and add in HALF the Worcestershire Sauce. Reserve the other half for the green bean mixture. Toss in the onions and sliced mushrooms, and sauce on high heat until all moisture has evaporated, and the mushrooms and onions are caramelized.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In another large pot, add in the soup, the rest of the Worcestershire Sauce, liquid stock, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat on medium until bubbly. Turn off heat. Stir in the onion and mushroom mixture, along with all its juices. Drain the green beans and stir them in.
Spread the mixture into a long, wide baking dish (as opposed to a short, deep one). Don't put the topping on yet!
Bake the casserole for approx. 20 minutes, or until heated through. Top with the bacon crumbles and fried onions. Bake an additional 10-15 minutes. Serve hot.
